How to promote your artistic career and get hired using Shastic.com: Part 2
      On our first tutorial we created a basic artistic portfolio with real-life media samples of performances, an artistic statement, a bios and relevant background information. This time we'll be adding a few more sections to the same portfolio in order to have it ready for receiving gig offers and getting hired through Shastic.com

      Step Six: Contact Information Type in your contact info like phone number, country, state and city, zip code, email, etc. Remember the required fields are marked with a star. Also remember to click "Save Changes".

      Step Seven: Places where you have performed Add previous performances or gigs where you have participated. Add more performances by clicking the plus sign button. This is important because it provides a reference of your work. Remember to click "Save Changes".

      Step Eight: Where did you learn your skills Enter where did you took classes or who taught you the artistic skills you have. In here it can be an institution like a school or just a particular teacher. Also if you are a self-taught artist you can choose that option. To add new mentors click on the plus sign. Remember to click "Save Changes".

      Step Nine: Your FeesIf you are available to be hired for a performance enter your base fees as well as any extra fees and indicate if you are willing to travel. Also you can choose the compensation method, for example "Per Performance" for me. To add an extra fee, click the plus sign. Remember to click "Save Changes".

      Step Ten: The RepertoireMove through the sections by clicking the arrows. Then go to Repertoire and add your artistic repertoire. Add new pieces of your repertoire by clicking the plus sign. Remember to click "Save Changes".

      Step Eleven: Privacy settingsIn this section you can modify who has access to your portfolio and to what sections they have access to. Remember to update the privacy settings if any changes where made. If your portfolio is not published, remember to publish it so everybody can see it.

      Step Twelve: Now you have a very professional portfolio.
      Click on preview and check it out! You can now use this excellent portfolio as a business tool to present your work to people interested in working with you. Also notice that your portfolio has a neat feature called "Propose a Gig" that allows people to contact you directly and ask you for quotes on specific gigs.
